Check in with just a phone

No scanner and no laptop. Open the door on any phone and scan, find a guest by name, and take cash and comps at the box office, all on one guest list.

On every plan, with no app to install.

The box office on a phone: two General admission tickets for Sunset Market Night
Check-in on a phone: Sunset Market Night, a guest welcomed with their ticket type, and the count of who is in

At the door

Three ways in

Step 1: Scan the QR

Every ticket is emailed with its own QR code. Scan it with any phone’s camera from the door page, or type the code.

Step 2: Find them by name

For the guest who can’t find their email: search the guest list and check them in from there.

Step 3: A link for a volunteer

Copy a door link for whoever is on the door. They need no account, and replacing the link stops the old one.

Box office

Cash, comps and transfers

An order you took yourself, a comp, cash at the door or a bank transfer, entered in the box office and onto the same guest list.

  • No booking fee, because One Ticket didn’t take the payment
  • Never refused by the day’s ticket limit
  • A running count of who’s in, as the door scans
  • Once a day on an event over several days

Answers to your questions

Do I need a scanner or an app?

No. Open the door page on any phone and use its camera to scan tickets, or type a ticket’s code.

Can a volunteer run check-in?

Yes. Copy a door link for them: it opens the scanner without an account. Replace the link and the old one stops working.

What if someone can’t find their ticket?

Search the guest list by name and check them in from there.

Can I sell tickets at the door?

Yes. Enter cash, a card taken on your own reader, comps and bank transfers in the box office. They join the same guest list, with no booking fee.

Does it work for an event over several days?

Yes. A ticket checks in once a day, every day the event runs.
