The short answer
For the example below, charge about $36 a ticket.
That covers $1,220 in costs for 40 people and leaves $200 profit; the break-even price is $30.50. With One Ticket’s booking fee passed on, buyers pay $37.90 and you receive $36 a ticket.

Tips for a networking breakfast
Breakfast is charged per head by most venues, so give the caterer a number close to the day and close sales then. A lower price for members is easy to offer as a second ticket type.

The booking fee
One Ticket adds a booking fee at checkout: $1.90 on a $36 ticket, paid by the buyer, so you receive the whole price. It is the same on every plan, free tickets carry none and the Free plan has no monthly cost. See One Ticket pricing.
