How do I make a candlelight concert page that sells?

It sells on atmosphere before anyone hears a note. A page that looks the part: your colours, a display font, a cover in the same light, a button in your own words, a short link and share cards that render.

The short answer

On One Ticket, choose a dark colour scheme, or type your own hex for the exact candle gold, and pick the display font the title is set in. Upload a photograph or let a cover be drawn from the title in the same colours. The ticket and the emails follow the scheme, so the confirmation feels like the evening.

Rename the button: Reserve my seat, not Buy now. Ticket types for Front rows and General with their own caps give a premium choice without a seating map. Your logo and the venue on a map sit on the page; our brand stays out of the way.

Share one short address, oneticket.com.au/e/your-concert. Pasted into WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, the cover and the title show. Print the QR for the event on the programme and the poster, and it opens the same page.

Candlelight Strings

Candlelight concert, already set up as an event you can open now. Pick a date and a venue, change what you like, and publish. Nothing is saved until you do, and you can start without an account.

  • Front rows and general, each capped
  • A dark scheme for the candlelight
  • Six to an order

Which fits your event?

Start from the one requirement that decides it.

Your main requirementStart with
A recital for the families of the studentsA school newsletter
A ticketed concert that has to look beautifulAn event page in your look, on One Ticket
A season of concerts in the same venueA series with one page for the season, on One Ticket
Reserved seating by row and seat numberA platform with a seating map

The last row is honest: One Ticket sells capped ticket types, not numbered seats.

How it works in practice

Changing the look never touches the tickets already sold.

You chooseThe page shows
A colour scheme, or any hexThe page, ticket and emails in it
A display fontThe title set in it
A cover, or noneYours, or one drawn in your colours
The button's wordsReserve my seat
A short addressA share card that renders, and a QR for the poster

One Ticket for a recurring room

Everything below follows from one decision: a series is one object, not a list of dates.

FeatureWhat it does
Who came backAfter every session: how many came, how many had been before, who is new and who has stopped coming, by name, with an address to write to
SubscriptionsOne subscription covers every session in a series. Each night's ticket is minted ahead of time
Paid outEvery ticket is charged to your own Stripe account. A new account is paid out to your bank two days after each event, once guests have said how it went; after a first clean event it is paid out as it sells
FeesNo platform fee on the ticket price. The buyer pays a booking fee: a platform tier of 35c to $1.45 a ticket, then 1.5% of the price above $100, plus card processing. On a $25 ticket that is $1.45 all in, so the buyer pays $26.45. Free tickets cost nothing
Refund if it changesMove the date, start time or place after people have booked and every one of them can refund in full, booking fee included, until it starts, whatever your refund policy says. You are warned before you save, and everyone booked is emailed the new details
Refund requestsOn a case-by-case event the buyer asks from their ticket. You have 3 days to refund or decline; a request nobody answers goes to One Ticket support, and your payouts are held until it is settled
Guest ratingsAfter each event, ticket holders rate it: stars and a few words. From 5 ratings the average shows under your name on every event page, good or bad. Notes are for you alone, and never say who wrote them
Scam protectionEvery page is read before it can send an email, and our emails carry none of an organiser's own links or phone numbers. A new organiser's money is held until after the event, and anyone can report an event from its page
Verified tickEarned by selling here: 3 past events, 25 tickets, no chargebacks, no ignored refund requests, and an average of 4 stars once there are 10 ratings. A chargeback or an ignored request takes it away at once
Block a personBlock an address from a ticket type, for this event or every one after it. No public list, no conversation at the door
Your pageYour colours, your title font, your cover. Nobody else's event on it
ImportPaste an Eventbrite link and the title, description, date, venue and ticket types come across
Not includedA marketplace. There is no search page and no audience to sell into; the people are the ones you bring

Common questions

Can I use my own colours on the event page?
Yes. Pick a scheme or type any hex colour; the ticket and emails follow it.
Can I change the font of the title?
Yes. Choose a display font per event or per series.
Can I change the Buy button text?
Yes. Rename it to Reserve, Register, RSVP or your own words.
Does One Ticket do numbered seats?
No. It sells capped ticket types such as Front rows and General, not a seating map.
