How do I sell tickets for a drag bingo night?

It sells on the queen's name, and the page has to be as loud as the night. Make the whole page from one sentence, in your colours, with a cover drawn for you, and sell tables and singles from one link.

The short answer

On One Ticket, type the night the way you would say it: "Drag bingo with Miss Kitty at the Rooftop Bar, Friday 7pm, $35 a seat, tables of six." The builder fills itself in: title, description, times, a single ticket and a table ticket, and a cover drawn from the title in the colours you pick. There is a ready-made drag brunch template to start from too.

Make it look like the night. Pick a colour scheme or type your own hex, choose the display font the title is set in, and rename the button to something with personality. The ticket and the emails follow the same scheme, so the confirmation looks like the event, not like a receipt.

A table ticket that admits six counts six against the cap, so a group books together in one go. Share one short link; pasted into Instagram or a group chat, the cover and the title show. Check people in from a phone at the door, with no app to install.

Drag Bingo Night

Drag bingo, already set up as an event you can open now. Pick a date and a venue, change what you like, and publish. Nothing is saved until you do, and you can start without an account.

  • A single seat and a table of six
  • Monthly
  • The waitlist when it fills

Which fits your event?

Start from the one requirement that decides it.

Your main requirementStart with
A free bingo round in the pub with no bookingA chalkboard
A ticketed night with tables and singlesAn event page made with AI, on One Ticket
The same night every month at the same venueA series with one link, on One Ticket
A fundraiser where the bingo is one partA single event with a donation ticket type

The page is the poster. If it looks like a form, it sells like one.

How it works in practice

Every account has five AI messages; most pages take one or two.

You doYou get
Describe the night in a sentenceTitle, description, times and ticket types filled in
Pick a scheme and a display fontThe page, ticket and emails in your look
No photo yetA cover drawn from the title, in your colours
A table ticket that admits sixOne booking, six places against the cap
Rename the buttonYour word on it, not "Buy now"

One Ticket for a recurring room

Everything below follows from one decision: a series is one object, not a list of dates.

FeatureWhat it does
Who came backAfter every session: how many came, how many had been before, who is new and who has stopped coming, by name, with an address to write to
SubscriptionsOne subscription covers every session in a series. Each night's ticket is minted ahead of time
Paid outEvery ticket is charged to your own Stripe account. A new account is paid out to your bank two days after each event, once guests have said how it went; after a first clean event it is paid out as it sells
FeesNo platform fee on the ticket price. The buyer pays a booking fee: a platform tier of 35c to $1.45 a ticket, then 1.5% of the price above $100, plus card processing. On a $25 ticket that is $1.45 all in, so the buyer pays $26.45. Free tickets cost nothing
Refund if it changesMove the date, start time or place after people have booked and every one of them can refund in full, booking fee included, until it starts, whatever your refund policy says. You are warned before you save, and everyone booked is emailed the new details
Refund requestsOn a case-by-case event the buyer asks from their ticket. You have 3 days to refund or decline; a request nobody answers goes to One Ticket support, and your payouts are held until it is settled
Guest ratingsAfter each event, ticket holders rate it: stars and a few words. From 5 ratings the average shows under your name on every event page, good or bad. Notes are for you alone, and never say who wrote them
Scam protectionEvery page is read before it can send an email, and our emails carry none of an organiser's own links or phone numbers. A new organiser's money is held until after the event, and anyone can report an event from its page
Verified tickEarned by selling here: 3 past events, 25 tickets, no chargebacks, no ignored refund requests, and an average of 4 stars once there are 10 ratings. A chargeback or an ignored request takes it away at once
Block a personBlock an address from a ticket type, for this event or every one after it. No public list, no conversation at the door
Your pageYour colours, your title font, your cover. Nobody else's event on it
ImportPaste an Eventbrite link and the title, description, date, venue and ticket types come across
Not includedA marketplace. There is no search page and no audience to sell into; the people are the ones you bring

Common questions

Can AI make my event page?
Yes. Describe the event in a sentence and the builder fills in the title, description, times and ticket types for you to check.
Can I sell a table of six as one ticket?
Yes. A ticket type can admit several people, and it counts all of them against the cap.
Can I change the colours and font?
Yes. Pick a colour scheme or any hex colour, and a display font for the title. The ticket and emails follow it.
What if I do not have a poster image?
A cover is drawn for you from the title, in your colours.
