7 reasons race directors choose One Ticket
- Early-bird entries. Set entries to rise in price on a date, a number of days before, or once so many have entered.
- Every distance its own entry. Sell 5 km, 10 km and kids’ entries as ticket types, each with its own price and cap.
- What you need at entry. Ask for an emergency contact, a shirt size, or a required tick box accepting your terms.
- Families in one order. A family enters together in one order, up to the cap per order you set.
- Pack pick-up and race-day check-in. Scan entrants’ QR codes from any phone, and let volunteers help with the event’s door link.
- On-the-day entries. Take late entries in cash or by bank transfer at the box office.
- The whole entry fee for the event. You receive the whole entry price. The entrant pays the booking fee on top.
How it works for race directors
- Create the race with a ticket type for each distance, each capped.
- Add early-bird price changes and the questions you need at entry.
- Connect Stripe and open entries.
- On the day, volunteers scan entries with the door link and the box office takes late entries.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 km entry | $35 | $1.88 | $36.88 | $35 |
| Kids’ entry | $15 | $1.28 | $16.28 | $15 |
Sell 200 tickets at $35 and you receive $7,000. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Common questions
- Can entry prices rise after the early bird?
- Yes. Add a price change to each entry type: on a date, a number of days before the race, or once so many have entered.
- Can I ask for an emergency contact?
- Yes. Add a required question at checkout. The answers come out with your orders and in the attendee export.
- Does One Ticket do race timing or bib numbers?
- No. One Ticket handles entries, payments and check-in. Timing is a separate service.
- What does a buyer pay on a $35 ticket?
- $36.88: the $35 ticket price and a $1.88 booking fee. You receive the whole $35, and the fee is the same on every plan.
