7 reasons schools and P&Cs choose One Ticket

  1. Adult and child tickets. Sell adult, child and concession ticket types side by side, each with its own price and cap.
  2. A cap per order. Limit how many tickets one order can hold, so a single family can’t book out the hall.
  3. Cash at the door. The box office records cash, comps and bank transfers on the night, beside what sold online.
  4. Parent volunteers on check-in. Volunteers check people in from their own phones with the event’s door link: no login to share and no app to install.
  5. The whole ticket price for the school. The buyer pays the booking fee on top, so every dollar of the ticket price goes to the fundraiser.
  6. Questions that save emails. Ask for a child’s name and class, or dietary needs, as families book.
  7. A list for the treasurer. Export orders and attendees as a CSV for the committee, with the answers to your checkout questions.

How it works for schools and P&Cs

  1. Create the event with adult and child ticket types, and a cap for the hall.
  2. Set a cap per order and add any questions, like a child’s class.
  3. Connect the P&C’s Stripe account and share the link with families.
  4. On the night, volunteers scan tickets and the box office takes cash at the door.

What a ticket costs, worked through

TicketPriceBooking feeBuyer paysYou receive
Adult$25$1.45$26.45$25
Child$10$0.94$10.94$10

Sell 100 tickets at $25 and you receive $2,500. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.

Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Common questions

Can families pay cash at the door?
Yes. The box office records cash, comps and bank transfers on the night, alongside the tickets sold online.
Can I stop one family buying all the tickets?
Yes. Set a cap per order for the event, and a cap per buyer on any ticket type.
Can volunteers check people in without our login?
Yes. Each event has a door link: anyone with it can check people in to that event from their own phone. Replace the link to switch it off.
What does a buyer pay on a $25 ticket?
$26.45: the $25 ticket price and a $1.45 booking fee. You receive the whole $25, and the fee is the same on every plan.
