7 reasons charities and fundraisers choose One Ticket

  1. The whole ticket price for the cause. You receive 100% of the price you set. The supporter pays a small booking fee on top at checkout.
  2. A supporter ticket. Add a higher-priced ticket type beside the standard one, for supporters who want to give more.
  3. Free community events stay free. A free ticket costs nobody anything, so an awareness day or a volunteer briefing takes registrations at no cost.
  4. Paid into your own account. Ticket money goes to your organisation’s own Stripe account, with no payout fee from us.
  5. Sponsors and special guests. Give sponsors a secret ticket type that only your access code shows, or record their comps at the box office.
  6. Cash on the night. Record cash, comps and bank transfers at the door, beside what sold online.
  7. Numbers for the committee. See bookings and sales for each event, and export orders and attendees as a CSV.

How it works for charities and fundraisers

  1. Create the event with a standard ticket and a supporter ticket at a higher price.
  2. Connect your organisation’s Stripe account, so ticket money goes straight to it.
  3. Share the link with supporters. They book without an account and get their ticket by email.
  4. On the night, check people in from any phone and take cash at the box office.

Common questions

Does the charity receive the whole ticket price?
Yes. The buyer pays the booking fee on top of the price, so you receive the full price you set, on every plan.
Can supporters pay more than the ticket price?
Add a supporter ticket type at a higher price beside the standard one, and let people choose. On Pro and Team, a pay what you want ticket lets supporters choose the amount above your minimum. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
Can we take cash at the door?
Yes. The box office records cash, comps and bank transfers on the night, alongside the tickets sold online.
What does a buyer pay on a $95 ticket?
$98.43: the $95 ticket price and a $3.43 booking fee. You receive the whole $95, and the fee is the same on every plan.
