7 reasons webinar hosts choose One Ticket
- Your join link on every ticket. Paste your meeting link once. It goes on every ticket page, in the ticket email, in the reminders and in the calendar file, and only ticket holders see it. Or hold it back until 15, 30 or 60 minutes before the start.
- The meeting tool you already use. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex and more: set up the meeting there and paste its link. There’s nothing to connect.
- Reminders that carry the link. Everyone booked gets a reminder the day before and the morning of, and a “Starting in 15 minutes” email with the link to join.
- See who joined. The attendee list shows who opened the join link, and for a pre-recorded webinar, how many minutes each person watched.
- Free webinars stay free. A free ticket costs nobody anything, and you don’t need Stripe connected to run one.
- Your price is your takings. You receive 100% of the ticket price. The buyer pays a small booking fee on top.
- A webinar series on one link. Run a weekly or monthly session as a series on one page, and let regulars subscribe weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
- Pre-recorded webinars that play like they’re live. Your video plays at a set time for everyone with a ticket, and late joiners pick up where it’s up to. On Pro and Team.
- A replay for anyone who missed it. Add the recording link and everyone with a ticket gets it on their ticket and by email, when the event ends or at a time you choose. On Pro and Team.

| How people join | The join link on their ticket, in their emails and in the calendar file | Their own Watch link, on their ticket, in their emails and in the calendar file |
| When it plays | When you go live | At the start time you set, for everyone at once |
| Joining late | As your meeting tool allows | They pick up where it’s up to |
| Talking with the audience | Whatever your meeting tool offers | None: no chat and no Q&A, just the video |
| Watching later | A replay, if you add the recording (Pro and Team) | A replay, if you add the recording (Pro and Team) |
| Plan | Free | Pro and Team, A$1 for your first year on a limited-time offer |
One Ticket doesn’t create meetings or connect to your meeting tool’s account: you set the meeting up there and paste its link.
Live webinars: your join link on every ticket
Create an online event, set up the meeting in your own tool and paste its join link. One Ticket shows it only to ticket holders: on the ticket page, in the ticket email, in the reminders the day before and the morning of, in the “Starting in 15 minutes” email and in the calendar file.
Join links go out under our name, so until your first paid event has gone cleanly, a join link must open one of these meeting or video sites. After that, any web link works.
To stop the link being passed around days ahead, you can hold it back until 15, 30 or 60 minutes before the start. Until then, tickets and emails say when it will appear, and the “Starting in 15 minutes” email brings it.

Pre-recorded webinars, played at a set time like they’re live
Pre-recorded webinars are on Pro and Team. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
- Upload your video to Vimeo and add its link and length. It plays on the date and at the start time you set, for everyone with a ticket.
- Each ticket has its own Watch link, on the ticket and in the emails, and plays on one screen at a time.
- The watch room opens at the start time, or up to an hour before, and can play a YouTube countdown video that finishes as yours begins.
- Everyone sees the same moment: no pausing, rewinding or skipping. Anyone who joins late picks up where it’s up to.
- A live count of who’s watching shows once others are watching too.
- Entry closes near the end, in the last minutes you choose, or you let people join until it finishes.
- Everyone booked gets a “Starting in 15 minutes” email, and the room shows your closing message when it ends.
There’s no live chat or Q&A in a pre-recorded webinar, and the room plays it once, at the time you set. To let people watch again afterwards, add a replay (Pro and Team): everyone booked gets the recording link on their ticket and by email. Viewers have their own volume, captions where your video has them, and full screen.
How it works
A live webinar
- Set up the meeting in Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or the tool you use.
- Create an online event on One Ticket and paste the join link.
- Add your tickets, free or paid, with a cap if places are limited.
- Share the page. Everyone who books gets the link on their ticket and in their reminders.
A pre-recorded webinar (Pro and Team)
- Upload the video to Vimeo and allow it to be embedded on One Ticket.
- Create the event, choose the pre-recorded webinar option (Premiere), paste the Vimeo link and set the start time.
- Add tickets: each one carries its own Watch link.
- At the start time, the video plays for everyone at once.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Live webinar | $20 | $1.37 | $21.37 | $20 |
| Pre-recorded masterclass | $49 | $2.12 | $51.12 | $49 |
Sell 50 tickets at $20 and you receive $1,000. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Guides for webinar hosts
Common questions
- Can I sell tickets to a Zoom webinar?
- Yes. Create an online event and paste your Zoom join link. It goes on every ticket, in the ticket email, the reminders and the calendar file, for ticket holders only. One Ticket doesn’t connect to your Zoom account or create the meeting for you.
- What is a pre-recorded webinar on One Ticket?
- A video on Vimeo that plays at a set time for everyone with a ticket, like it’s live. Late joiners pick up where it’s up to, and each ticket has its own Watch link that plays on one screen at a time. It’s on Pro and Team. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
- Can viewers chat or ask questions in a pre-recorded webinar?
- No. There’s no live chat or Q&A: the room plays your video and shows how many are watching. If you want questions, run the session live on your meeting tool.
- Can people watch a pre-recorded webinar later?
- Yes, with a replay. The room plays it once, at the time you set. Afterwards you can add the recording link (and its password, if it has one), and everyone with a ticket gets it on their ticket and by email: when the event ends, straight away, or at a date and time you pick. Replays are on Pro and Team, and work for live webinars too.
- What does a buyer pay on a $20 ticket?
- $21.37: the $20 ticket price and a $1.37 booking fee. You receive the whole $20, and the fee is the same on every plan.
