7 reasons book clubs choose One Ticket
- Free seats stay free. Most book clubs are free to join, and a free ticket costs nobody anything.
- A cap for the café. Venues hold only so many readers. Cap the seats and booking closes when they’re gone.
- Monthly meetings on one link. Set the club to repeat monthly and every meeting sits on one page.
- A reminder before every meeting. Readers get a reminder the day before and the morning of, so the seats you hold get used.
- Ask what they’re reading. Add a question at checkout, like the book someone’s bringing or a genre they’d like next.
- A drink included, if you like. If the venue asks for a minimum spend, sell a small ticket that includes a drink. You receive the whole price.
- Regulars on a subscription. Regulars can subscribe monthly and have each meeting’s ticket issued for them.
How it works for book clubs
- Create the meeting with a free ticket capped at the venue’s seats.
- Set it to repeat monthly and change the button to RSVP.
- Add a question about the book, if you like, and share the link.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free seat | $0 | None | $0 | $0 |
| Seat with a coffee | $8 | $0.91 | $8.91 | $8 |
Sell 20 tickets at $8 and you receive $160. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.
