7 reasons churches choose One Ticket
- Free registrations at no cost. A free ticket costs nobody anything, so a course night, a youth event or a service with limited seats takes registrations without fees. No Stripe account needed.
- Dietary needs at checkout. Ask about allergies and dietary requirements as people book, with a typed answer or a list to pick from. The answers come out with your orders.
- A members’ price. Add a secret ticket type that only people with your access code can see, for members or volunteers, beside the general price.
- Adult and child tickets. Sell adult and child tickets side by side, or a family ticket that admits up to eight for one price.
- Volunteers on the door. Give a volunteer the event’s door link and they check people in from their own phone, without your login.
- Weekly groups as a series. A study group or a course that meets weekly sits on one page with one link, each night with its own list.
- The whole ticket price for the church. For a fundraising dinner you receive the whole ticket price, paid into the church’s own Stripe account. The booking fee is added for the buyer.
How it works for churches
- Create the event: a free ticket for registrations, or paid tickets for a dinner.
- Add a question for dietary requirements, and a secret members’ ticket if you need one.
- Share the link in the newsletter and on the screen. People book without an account.
- On the day, volunteers check people in with the door link.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Course night | $0 | None | $0 | $0 |
| Church dinner | $30 | $1.80 | $31.80 | $30 |
Sell 60 tickets at $30 and you receive $1,800. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Common questions
- Is One Ticket free for church events?
- Free registrations are free: no fee for anyone, and the Free plan has no monthly cost. On a paid ticket the buyer pays a small booking fee and the church receives the whole price.
- Can members pay a different price?
- Yes. Add a members’ ticket type and make it secret: only people with the access code you share can see it.
- Can the money go to the church’s own account?
- Yes. Connect the church’s Stripe account and ticket money is paid into it, with no payout fee from One Ticket.
- What does a buyer pay on a $30 ticket?
- $31.80: the $30 ticket price and a $1.80 booking fee. You receive the whole $30, and the fee is the same on every plan.
- Is there a limit on free bookings?
- Each organiser sells up to a number of tickets a day, free or paid: 500 on Free, 1,000 on Pro and 2,000 on Team. Free bookings are also confirmed by email, within the emails a plan sends a day: 500 on Free, 2,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Team. After that, new bookings open again the next day. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
