7 reasons run clubs choose One Ticket
- Free runs stay free. A free ticket costs nobody anything: no fee for you or your runners, and no Stripe account needed to run one.
- A headcount before you set off. Every runner books a free ticket, so you know how many to expect, who they are and how many coffees to order.
- Check-in at the start line. Scan each runner’s QR code with any phone, in the browser. No app to install, and you can find someone by name when their phone is flat.
- Every week on one link. Set the run to repeat weekly and it becomes a series: one page lists every run, and you share the same link each week.
- A pacer can run the door. Hand a pacer the run’s door link and they check people in from their own phone, without your login. Replace the link any time to switch it off.
- Caps for the route and the café. Cap each run at what the route or the café can take, and set a cap per order so one person can’t book for the whole group chat.
- Paid extras when you want them. Charge for a coffee run or a social and you receive the whole ticket price. The runner pays a small booking fee on top.
How it works for run clubs
- Create the run: the time, the meeting point and a free ticket type with a cap.
- Set it to repeat weekly, so every run sits on one series page with one link.
- Share the link in your group chat or on Instagram. Runners book in seconds, without an account.
- On the morning, scan tickets at the start line, or hand a pacer the door link.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Social run | $0 | None | $0 | $0 |
| Run and coffee | $6 | $0.87 | $6.87 | $6 |
Sell 30 tickets at $6 and you receive $180. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Common questions
- Is One Ticket free for a run club?
- Yes, for free runs. A free ticket carries no fee for anyone, and the Free plan has no monthly cost. If you charge for something, the runner pays a small booking fee and you receive the whole price.
- Do runners need an account or an app?
- No. They book with a name and an email, and the ticket arrives by email with a QR code. You check them in from any phone’s browser.
- What if we change the meeting point?
- A free run has nothing to refund. For a paid run, if you change the date, start time or place after people have booked, each of them can refund in full, booking fee included, until it starts.
- What does a buyer pay on a $6 ticket?
- $6.87: the $6 ticket price and a $0.87 booking fee. You receive the whole $6, and the fee is the same on every plan.
- Is there a limit on free bookings?
- Each organiser sells up to a number of tickets a day, free or paid: 500 on Free, 1,000 on Pro and 2,000 on Team. Free bookings are also confirmed by email, within the emails a plan sends a day: 500 on Free, 2,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Team. After that, new bookings open again the next day. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
