7 reasons organisers choose One Ticket over Humanitix
- A smaller fee for your buyers. On a $25 ticket the booking fee is $1.45, against about $1.99 on Humanitix, and it is lower at every price we checked, $1 to $500. On a one-ticket order at published rates, August 2026.
- Keep every dollar of your price. Set a $25 ticket and you receive $25. The buyer pays a small booking fee on top, so there is nothing to absorb.
- Check-in without an app. Scan each guest’s QR code in your phone’s browser, with nothing to install, or find a guest by name. On Humanitix, browser check-in is by search; its help pages document QR scanning in its Hosts app.
- No passwords. Sign-in is passwordless, and buyers don’t need an account to book. Tickets arrive by email with a QR code.
- A page that looks like you. Pick your colours, a cover and a button that says Book, Register or RSVP. Guests see your event, not a feed of others.
- Built for events that repeat. Run a weekly class or a monthly social as a series on one page. Members subscribe weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and each session’s ticket is issued for them.
- Clear refunds, up front. Buyers see your refund policy before they pay, and get a full refund, booking fee included, if the date, time or place moves.

How each fee works
One Ticket
The buyer pays a booking fee at checkout: a platform fee by ticket price ($0.35 up to $5, $0.45 up to $10, $0.70 up to $25, $0.95 up to $50, $1.45 up to $100, then $1.45 + 1.5% of the amount over $100) plus Stripe’s card processing at cost (1.7% + $0.30 on the order). The organiser receives 100% of the ticket price.
Checkout’s own fee: the same on every plan. See One Ticket pricing.
