7 reasons organisers choose One Ticket over Eventbrite
- A smaller fee for your buyers. On a $25 ticket the booking fee is $1.45, against about $2.53 on Eventbrite, and it is lower at every price we checked, $1 to $500. On a one-ticket order at published rates, August 2026.
- Keep every dollar of your price. Set a $25 ticket and you receive $25. The buyer pays a small booking fee on top, so there is nothing to absorb.
- Paid into your own Stripe account. Ticket money is charged to your own Stripe account, with no payout fee from us. Until your first paid event has gone cleanly, it is paid out two days after each event. Eventbrite collects ticket money and pays it out to you, unless you use PayPal.
- Check-in without an app. Scan each guest’s QR code in your phone’s browser, with nothing to install, or find a guest by name. On Eventbrite, browser check-in is by search; its help pages document QR scanning in its Organizer app.
- Built for events that repeat. Run a weekly class or a monthly social as a series on one page. Members subscribe weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and each session’s ticket is issued for them.
- A page that looks like you. Pick your colours, a cover and a button that says Book, Register or RSVP. Guests see your event, not a feed of others.
- No passwords. Sign-in is passwordless, and buyers don’t need an account to book. Tickets arrive by email with a QR code.
