7 reasons organisers choose One Ticket over TryBooking
- Keep every dollar of your price. You receive 100% of the price you set: the buyer pays the booking fee on top, on every ticket and every plan. On TryBooking, by default the buyer pays its ticket fee but the organiser pays the 2.5% processing fee.
- Buyers refund themselves. Where your refund policy allows it, buyers refund themselves from their ticket, with nothing for you to process. TryBooking’s help centre says refunds are handled solely by the event organiser.
- Refund requests in one place. Buyers ask for a refund from their ticket, and one left unanswered goes to One Ticket support. On TryBooking, buyers ask the organiser with a Contact Event Organiser button.
- Series and subscriptions, built in. Sell the season, not just the night: subscribers pay on a schedule you set and get the next session’s ticket before it runs.
- No passwords. Sign-in is passwordless, and buyers don’t need an account to book. Tickets arrive by email with a QR code.
- Run the door without an app. QR check-in works in your phone’s browser: nothing to install, nothing to download on the night.
- Refunds buyers can trust. Your refund policy is shown before anyone pays. If the date, start time or place changes, everyone booked can refund in full, booking fee included.

How each fee works
One Ticket
The buyer pays a booking fee at checkout: a platform fee by ticket price ($0.35 up to $5, $0.45 up to $10, $0.70 up to $25, $0.95 up to $50, $1.45 up to $100, then $1.45 + 1.5% of the amount over $100) plus Stripe’s card processing at cost (1.7% + $0.30 on the order). The organiser receives 100% of the ticket price.
Checkout’s own fee: the same on every plan. See One Ticket pricing.
