Legal - terms, privacy and fees
Terms of Service
Effective 13 August 2026 · Operated from Australia · Contact support@oneticket.com.au
1. The service
One Ticket (“we”, “us”) provides software for event pages, ticketing, payments, subscriptions, and door check-in at oneticket.com.au. Organisers create and run events. When you buy a ticket or subscription, your contract for the event itself is with the organiser, not with One Ticket. We facilitate the booking, payment, ticket delivery, and check-in tools.
2. Accounts
You must provide a real email address and keep it under your control. We require email confirmation for new accounts. You are responsible for activity under your login. Organisers must provide accurate event details (time, venue or online access, pricing, and capacity).
3. Fees
Free events and free subscriptions are free for everyone. For paid tickets and paid series subscriptions, the buyer pays a booking fee at checkout equal to a tiered platform fee ($0.35 for amounts up to $5, rising through fixed tiers to $1.45 up to $100, then $1.45 plus 1.5% of the amount above $100) plus Stripe’s estimated domestic card processing fee for the organiser’s country (1.7% + $0.30 in Australia, 2.9% + $0.30 in the United States, 1.5% + 20p in the United Kingdom). On subscriptions the booking fee is charged each billing period. Organisers receive 100% of their set ticket or subscription price via Stripe. See the Fees tab for the full schedule.
4. Payments & payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. Ticket and subscription revenue settles to the organiser’s connected Stripe account; One Ticket does not hold organiser funds as a bank. Payout timing follows the organiser’s Stripe payout schedule and Stripe’s rules. Organisers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before selling paid tickets.
5. Tickets, transfers & door entry
Each paid or free seat receives a unique QR / code. The door will reject voided, refunded, unpaid, or already checked-in tickets. Buyers may transfer a seat to another person before check-in (subject to organiser rules and the event still being upcoming). Transfers reissue a new ticket; the old QR is voided. Capacity limits are enforced at checkout; unfinished payments hold seats for a limited time.
6. Refunds & cancellations
Organisers may refund individual orders from their Orders page; that returns the ticket price and booking fee and voids the tickets. If an organiser unpublishes or deletes an event after tickets have been sold, One Ticket automatically voids those tickets and starts a full Stripe refund (ticket price plus booking fee) for paid orders. Card refunds usually appear within a few business days depending on the buyer’s bank. Australian Consumer Law rights that cannot be excluded still apply.
7. Acceptable use
No unlawful events, misleading listings, fraud, or resale of tickets above face value where prohibited. Do not attempt to bypass check-in, scrape personal data, or abuse the platform. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for buyers or organisers.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, One Ticket is not liable for the organiser’s event (including cancellation quality, venue conditions, or performer changes), for Stripe outages, or for losses caused by incorrect buyer details entered at checkout. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law (including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law). Where liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Courts in Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

Who we are
One Ticket operates the ticketing platform at oneticket.com.au from Australia. For privacy requests email support@oneticket.com.au.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash via Supabase Auth), organiser profile information you choose to publish, event content you create (including any password an organiser sets on a private event, which only that event’s team can see), and attendee details entered at checkout (names, emails, answers to organiser questions). Card details go directly to Stripe - we never see or store full card numbers. We also process technical logs needed to run the service (for example IP address on server requests, and device data Stripe or our hosts may collect).
Why we collect it
To create accounts, deliver tickets and QR codes, run check-in, process payments and refunds, pay organisers, send transactional email (tickets, receipts, reminders, cancellations, postponements), prevent fraud and abuse, and improve reliability of the service.
Who we share with
Attendee details for an order are shared with that event’s organiser - they are who you bought from. We use processors that help us run the product: Supabase (database and auth), Netlify (hosting and functions), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Google Analytics (traffic measurement), and Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics and session replay). We do not sell personal information. Attendee data from one organiser is not shared with another organiser.
How you found us
The first time you visit, your browser keeps a short note of how you arrived: the first page you opened, the website that linked you to us (for example a search engine or social site), and any campaign tags in that link. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us unless you create an account. If you do, it is saved with your account, along with the page you signed up on, so we can see which pages and partners bring people to One Ticket. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with organisers. Clearing your browser storage removes it before sign-up; after sign-up you can ask us to delete it.
Support messages
When you email support@oneticket.com.au or use the form on our Support page, we keep your message, your email address and name, any attachments, and our replies, so we can answer you and follow up. Attachments are held by our email provider, Resend. We keep support conversations for as long as they are useful for helping you and for resolving disputes, and you can ask us to delete them.
Analytics & session replay
We use Google Analytics to count visits and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session replay. Session replay records a reconstruction of how pages were used - pointer movement, scrolling, taps and clicks, so we can find where the product confuses people. Form fields carrying personal or payment information are masked, so the text you type into checkout, sign-up and log-in is not captured, and card details never reach our pages at all (they go straight to Stripe). Both tools set cookies and may store data overseas. To opt out, use your browser’s Do Not Track or an ad/analytics blocker, or email us and we will exclude you.
Overseas storage
Our processors may store data in Australia and other countries (for example the United States). We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the APPs.
Retention
We keep order and ticket records for as long as needed to run check-in, handle refunds, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete account data when it is no longer required for those purposes.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@oneticket.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. Organisers can export and delete attendee data for their own events from the product tools where available. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Marketing
We do not send marketing email without an opt-in. Transactional messages about tickets you bought or events you organise are not marketing.
Security
We use industry-standard hosting, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and access controls. Ticket QR secrets are server-side door keys and are not exposed to anonymous browser clients. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your login private.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Fees
What attendees pay at checkout - organisers keep 100% of the ticket price.
