The short answer
For the example below, charge about $23 a ticket.
That covers $295 in costs for 15 people and leaves $50 profit; the break-even price is $19.67. With One Ticket’s booking fee passed on, buyers pay $24.42 and you receive $23 a ticket.
This is an example, not a quote or an average: use your own costs in the calculator below.
The example budget
| Cost | Amount |
|---|---|
| Venue hire | $100 |
| Facilitator | $150 |
| Tea and snacks | $3 a person ($45 for 15) |
| Total costs | $295 |
| People expected | 15 |
| Profit wanted | $50 |
Worked example
At $23 a ticket, what you receive and keep if fewer than 15 come:
| Attendance | You receive | Profit |
|---|---|---|
| Half (8 people) | $184 | -$90 |
| Three quarters (11 people) | $253 | -$30 |
| All 15 people | $345 | $50 |
And at the prices either side:
| Ticket price | Buyer pays | Profit at 15 people | People to break even |
|---|---|---|---|
| $21 | $22.39 | $20 | 14 people |
| $22 | $23.40 | $35 | 14 people |
| $23 | $24.42 | $50 | 13 people |
| $24 | $25.44 | $65 | 12 people |
| $25 | $26.45 | $80 | 12 people |

Tips for a breathwork session
Keep the group small enough for the facilitator to watch everyone, and price for that number. If you ask guests to agree to a waiver, ask at checkout so it is done before they arrive.

The booking fee
One Ticket adds a booking fee at checkout: $1.42 on a $23 ticket, paid by the buyer, so you receive the whole price. It is the same on every plan, free tickets carry none and the Free plan has no monthly cost. See One Ticket pricing.
