7 reasons community groups and meetup hosts choose One Ticket
- Free RSVPs, no fees. A free ticket costs nobody anything, and the Free plan has no monthly cost.
- A button that says RSVP. Change the button to RSVP, Register or Reserve a spot, so a free meetup doesn’t read like a sale.
- Fewer no-shows. Everyone who books gets a reminder the day before and the morning of, with their ticket.
- The room capped. Set a cap for the venue and booking closes when it’s full.
- Regular meetups on one link. Set the meetup to repeat weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and every date sits on one page.
- No account needed to join. People book with a name and an email, and their ticket arrives by email.
- Charge when the room costs money. Add a small paid ticket when you need to cover the room or the pizza. You receive the whole price.
How it works for community groups and meetup hosts
- Create the meetup with a free ticket and a cap for the room.
- Change the button to RSVP and set the meetup to repeat.
- Share the link. Reminders go out the day before and the morning of.
- Check people in at the door, or turn the QR code off if you won’t scan.
What a ticket costs, worked through
| Ticket | Price | Booking fee | Buyer pays | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meetup RSVP | $0 | None | $0 | $0 |
| Meetup with pizza | $10 | $0.94 | $10.94 | $10 |
Sell 30 tickets at $10 and you receive $300. The booking fee is the buyer’s, added on top of your price at checkout, and it’s the same on every plan.
Example prices: set your own. Fees are checkout’s own, on a one-ticket order (One Ticket pricing). Free tickets carry no fee.

Common questions
- Does a free meetup cost anything?
- No. A free ticket carries no fee for anyone, and the Free plan has no monthly cost.
- Can I change the Get tickets button?
- Yes. Give it your own label, like RSVP or Register. Paid checkout still asks for payment as usual.
- Can I run a meetup with no tickets at all?
- Yes. Turn on No tickets needed: the page says what, when and where, and people just turn up.
- What does a buyer pay on a $10 ticket?
- $10.94: the $10 ticket price and a $0.94 booking fee. You receive the whole $10, and the fee is the same on every plan.
- Is there a limit on free bookings?
- Each organiser sells up to a number of tickets a day, free or paid: 500 on Free, 1,000 on Pro and 2,000 on Team. Free bookings are also confirmed by email, within the emails a plan sends a day: 500 on Free, 2,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Team. After that, new bookings open again the next day. Pro and Team are open now: upgrade any time in Settings › Plan. Limited-time offer: A$1 for your first year (first 100 organisers), then A$29/month for Pro or A$79/month for Team. Cancel anytime.
