Waiting rooms

When tickets go on sale, wait for your turn in a fair line.

Some events open their tickets at a set time with a waiting room, so a rush doesn't turn into a race.

Before sales open

The event page counts down to the opening. Keep the page open: from an hour before, you have a place. Getting there early doesn't put you first. When sales open, everyone there is given a place in a random order.

In line

You see how many people are ahead of you, a bar that fills as the line moves and, once it can tell, about how long until your turn. Keep the page open: it holds your place. If you close it, you're skipped until you come back.

Your turn

The tickets show, with how long your turn is held (10 minutes). Book as usual. Your turn works only in the browser that waited, so it can't be passed on.

If your turn runs out, choose Join the line again to go to the back of the line.

Once nobody is waiting any more, the page sells as usual.
