Door links for volunteers

Give a volunteer a link that checks people in to one event, without an account.

A door link opens the scanner for one event. Anyone with it can check people in, without signing in, and nothing else: they can't see your orders, money or settings.

  1. Choose Check-in.
  2. Beside the event, choose Copy link for a volunteer. You'll see "Door link copied".
  3. Send the link to your volunteer by text or message. They open it on their phone and choose Enable camera.

The door page has the same Scan tickets and Guest list tabs as your own scanner.

If a link has gone to the wrong person, or the night is over:

  1. Choose New link beside the event.
  2. Choose Replace and copy.

The old link stops working straight away. Anyone scanning with it needs the new one.
